I'm delighted to offer you a special selection of gift items and handicrafts from India and Africa. While orientcrafts is a new online shop, my journey into this world began more than 20 years ago. My father, who dedicated his life to the arts and crafts business and is now retired, passed on to me not only the craftsmanship but also the passion and eye for unique pieces.

Even as a child and teenager, I regularly accompanied him to exhibitions and bazaars. These experiences were formative and allowed me to delve deeply into the world of arts and crafts. There, I was not only able to learn how to work with different materials and techniques, but also gained practical experience in woodworking, whether through small repairs or by refurbishing furniture. These activities awakened in me at an early age the joy of creating things with my hands and preserving unique pieces.

My goal with orientcrafts is to offer hand-picked and authentic products that reflect the beauty and cultural heritage of the countries they originate from. Every product you find here is carefully selected to bring a piece of history and tradition into your home.
