Stone Balinese Woman Figure – seated with headdress

This stone figure shows a young Balinese woman in traditional dress sitting relaxed on a wall. The elaborate headdress, the curls, the earrings and the patterns of her dress are finely worked; the wall is designed with a brick relief.

The figure is kept in warm sand and cream tones. The white paint has chipped off in a few places, which gives the figure an expressive vintage character.
