The figure is hand-forged using a traditional and time-tested manufacturing method: the statues are cast from molten brass using the artful lost-wax casting process (Cire Perdue). After casting, the artwork is finished by hand and then carefully patinated , giving the camel statue a rich, antique character and a distinctive surface texture.
