Brass Saraswati – with veena and swan, approx. 38 cm

This handcrafted statue depicts the goddess Saraswati, guardian of knowledge, art and music. She stands gracefully on a lotus base, four-armed and with an elaborately designed headdress, surrounded by an ornate halo.

In her hands she holds the veena, and her swan rests at her feet. The fine details on the jewellery, robe and base and the warm brass patina give the figure a special presence. Light signs of use and patina are present.
